Angy Abbruzzese was born in 1988, Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated from Science in Communication and she is currently working on a bookstore. Her personal project is titled Recorta y mueve and it consists of making collages and GIFs with paper money (Bolívares) and paper figures, this is an alternative way to illustrate the social and economic crisis that her country is going through. If money is no longer useful for people to buy things, something really bad must be happening. If the internet has redefined the value of the image, why can’t we do the same thing with money? Through creativity, we can find an entire world of possibilities. Art can become the material of play and strategy inside the Venezuelan crisis.
