Barcelona Penthouse Transformed Into Glorious New Design

Interior architect Susanna Cots discovered this penthouse in Barcelona starved of any sunlight, modern day style or life. With the intent to redesign the penthouse into a home suitable to a social family lifestyle, Cots began by installing large windows to burst through natural light from outside. Instantly, the penthouse was brimming with new life and fresh appeal.
The transformation continued as Cots painted the walls and ceilings white to combine it effectively with light wood floors and black accents. Overall living space was expanded through sliding glass doors leading to the terrace outside. Framed glass walls were also fitted to separate the spaces while the light passes through.
Cots can be proud of a successful project that created a harmonious, uplifting setting from a barren, dark place.
