Javier Triviño Murillo was born in 1985, Arrasate, Spain. In 2011 he received his degree in Graphic Design from ESDIR School of Art and Design, Logroño, Spain. Triviño has already been included in various collective exhibitions in Spain and the Netherlands. In 2017 he made his first solo exhibition, Kontuz! at La Lonja Gallery, Logroño, Spain. Since 2016, Triviño has published 5 short comics in different comic magazines. His drawings and comics explore a black-white imaginary of shadows and empty spaces in which the faces of longing and loss emerge as narratives of love. In his paintings, using plain colors, the possibility of new forms appear to be linked to the loss of sense itself. He currently lives and works in Berlin.
